Teaching for Mastery

A visual on a snapshot of some of the ideas discussed in Mark McCourt’s (@EMathsUK) excellent Teaching for Mastery book

After each book I’ve read this summer I’ve blogged about particular areas which are going to impact on my teaching. As this book and others have given me so many ideas I’ve decided to produce an additional blog (hopefully today) which will try to pull all the ideas which I’ve read about over the summer into a way I’m going to deliver lessons this year.

This book is terrific and has sources many areas of very interesting research and findings which have challenged my thinking.

I will definitely be coming back to this book repeatedly throughout the year and will likely write a blog over the year looking at how different ideas have worked for me in the classroom.
